Last gig outdoors this summer

#1 Post by Paul Norman »

We played our last outdoor gig for the summer last nite. Used 8 Titan 48's 6 OT112's and 2 OT212's, left the other 6 OT112's in the trailer. Had a crowd of about 2,000 in a city block. This was our first time at this event and had a lot of great comments about how good the sound was. This was also the first big show we used our new PreSonus Studiolive 24-4-2 mixer. I like the piece! Sounds real good and is easy to operate. I think it's a keeper. Sorry the pics are so dark.

thats a mean stack of bass cabs. I just ordered the PreSonus 16:4 for a clients' house mixer. The programmable features allowed me to design the systems control like I wanted , with independent control for 20 channels.. Any other comments on how you used it or performance?

Hi! I rarely come to this site nowadays thanks to my computer that wont open it by some strange reason.... Apologizes for the late input!

I saw how you have arranged your subs and I noticed that you wrote something about a mixer but I dont know if you've applied any appropriate processing for the system.
This might be worth reading for you considering the placement you chose: http://www.prosoundweb.com/article/a_pr ... arrays/P4/

The last page might be an eye-opener of what processing is good for, especially with your placement.

Mean rig you've got there Mr! Cheers!
