I wanted to share with you this link, it has really helped me to understand all this quarter-, half-, whole- and double-wavelength and so on and how it applies to inter-driver-spacing and whole array length and how it results in narrowing and, eventually, lobing at some frequencys and much or less of a real concern the lobing will be.
Enjoy!

Excellent white paper.

What I have (not yet) seen is a similar paper applied to arrayed horns.
Inquiring minds would like to know if the horn mouth is the equivalent of the direct radiator cone.

Or, does the entire horn mouth have seamless integration between stacked horns?
In the direct radiator, there is a gap between drivers.
In rectangular horn mouths, there is no gap. i.e. the piezo tweeter arrays.

It is, JBL for one has published that.

Where? I've snooped around JBL's site and I can't find it.
