I'm struggling to find a neat way to attach the diffuser. It's a poly water pipe, l liked the black gloss finish. Maybe fine screws from the inside, but there's a carbon arrow for strength in the way. I could always glue it, but the CA glue develops that whiteness in the area after curing. What about the rubberised CA glue used for attachment of the caps to the KL3015CX, would it do the same thing on poly?
The array side trim pieces also arrived too.. nice.

What glue did you use to assemble the array? Wouldn't that work? You should be able to wrap the tube in sandpaper and rub it up and down a coupe times to mark the tweeters and know where to apply the cement.

It was model aeroplane cement initially, then PVC pipe glue. The cement is great for transparency, but won't hold it by itself.
I had thoughts of aviation lock wire today, threaded through in three spots, and anchored to the arrow, I'll entertain that this week & see if it'll work

Fired up the pair of operational DRs today after setting EQ from a dodgy measurement done the other day, very quietly downstairs as it won't stop raining.
I wasn't ready for it... close your eyes and your there. Led visited me this morning, his head was in the cab l swear!
"Hey Now" by London Grammer brought me properly to tears...
Some were for joy from the accomplishment of creating them from the amazing plans, and some were because it's been an eventful year to say the least.. I'm sure I'm not alone there.
I can hear instruments and back up singers now, in songs I've been listening to all my life

The bottom end is very impressive also (these cabs aren't ported)
Seth.. pull your finger out mate, you need to hear it for yourself

Awesome!

Yes, those are quite some thoughts and experiences. I've experienced similar.

I had to look that one up. Not a phrase I was familiar with. You're right! Gotta get on it! April or May, maybe.
Tell me a little bit about this little bit of trim work that covers the screws on the melded array. I've never seen that before.

It's still raining here, and I'm back to work so not yet mate. Once I've finished the four T48s (half way through number 3) and we have better weather I'll drag the 12 cab designs l want to measure outside and then let them rip! I warn the neighbours and play all their favourite songs when l test at home.

It's a peice of 90 degree aluminium trim which l had 9/16 taken off one side by a local window manufacturer.
There will be four small black screws each side through the trim attatching the array to the module, once l sort out attatching the diffuser and these trims I'll post a pic mate.
Does anyone know why there's so many views on this topic, is it the ad bots?

I noticed that as well. Your "Grant Bunter" thread has over 100k views too. Seems to be isolated to threads you started. Apparently you have a substantial fanbase. LOL
It is weird though. Bill, any insights on that?

Probably bots. Busy little bastards, aren't they? They could be following you. You can minimize that with something like the Malwarebytes that I have, which stops them.

Should l do something? I stayed logged out for a few days, but the views keep climbing. I have had a few permanent bans on our home router, Grant found out why, but l cant remember the reason, so l've only used my phone to post for the last few months. Not all of my topics have gone mad..
Oh, the third T48 is near operational..
