The panel with the hurricane nuts are the one that is being permanently installed in the Tabletuba.
The on with the rubber gaskets are the one I will be screwing the driver to an then fasten that panel to the Baffle.

That makes sense. Is that a new addition in the plans or is that something that you came up with? I can see how it would make changing to a different driver easier since they often have slightly different bolt patterns.

That will probably not work. Bill added the driver spacer option in the last update so you could glue the spacer to the baffle and then have 24mm of wood to screw into. That way you didnt have to use tnuts/hurricane nuts.. You will likely have a problem with not being able to tighten down the driver properly when only mounting it to 12mm of material - especially the GTO804 with its extremely rugged gasket.

Well, I will try and see if it can be done.
I plan on using some rubber gasket, the same as on the wood panel, between the hard rubber gasket and the wood.
That way I should get some nice compression, without having to dig to deep in the wood.

If not then I will have a problem

This is one of the places where I misunderstood the plans.
I actually thought I was supposed to do it this way.
Even more since I've seen other builds where the spacer is held in place by Hurricane nuts and bolts.
But we'll see either this evening or tomorrow when the glue is dry.

In every build I've ever seen, the spacer is glued in and the nuts and bolts hold the speaker. The spacer is essentially part of the baffle, not like a giant washer that can be taken on and off.

Apparently it was something a came up with
I should have made the hole in the baffle ready for a 10" instead, then I could have the possibility to change between drivers

How much voltage can this driver take?? (JBL GTO804)
I've had it up to 20v, that gave me a headache, so I turned it down and during listening it peaks at about 2.5v
