Crosstalk can be a problem when the LP/BP/HP filters are on the same board. When mounted on separate boards the coils are too far apart for it to be a concern.

Both are part of the midrange BP, so it's no concern. If you had an LP pass through close to a BP pass through that could be a problem.

So I guess I can leave it as it is if I don't put the filter boards next to each other?

Kids to school again, me back to work again, it took a while to get back at it...
made and installed the braces and flanges, and put on wheels and a handle...
BTW I wasn't able to install the woofer because the tall vertical brace from bottom to mid horn was in the way. It was build according to the plans, and I did not check with the woofer installed. I'll be making an adapted brace but for now I removed a part to get the woofer installed
Attached the back panel and impressed every listener
Stll need to do the accoustic foam, but I noticed a problem with the mid horn. In my opinion the driver is hitting the phase plug. I hardly notice it when playing recorded music, but with bass it's really annoying because I can hear it at any reasonable sound level...
Still deciding on the color. I would prefer to not use black. Does anyone have any experience with Tuff Cab paint? I might go for white

I dont know how flowless the sides are but i'd stain the front to mach the bass.

If i remember correctly Tuff Cab is what most of the Aussies use, you should be ok with that.

Tuff Cab is made by Aldcroft Adhesives in the UK. Not sure if it is available in continental Europe. I have used Warnex, very nice looking finish with a standard textured roller. It can be purchased from Thomann:

Yeah, I wish we had Duratex in Europe. Black is quite boring but it was the only affordable product I could find back when I needed some. Blue Aran have several colors in stock. In addition, Aldcroft can make just about any color you like, although a custom color will cost you some. You can email or call them, they are nice and helpful people.

The problem here is that I have some sunken screws hidden with filler. You remind me of my wife, she said just the same about staining it to match the bass
But I don't know if I'm gonna keep this bass as long as the Omni TB...
Maybe I will paint the front black and the sides white. It would match the checkered floor

The Tuff Cab technical data says not to paint over anything containing cellulose solvents like filler, primers... I've used the two component type filler with hardener 1:50. It doesn't state anywhere that it contains solvents. Would it be safe to use Tuff Cab then?
