I was just thinking this today. Scouring the internet for the best deals and stock piling these things right now would be great. Unfortunately, I had to check the couch for change (metaphorically speaking) for the two I needed for my build.Bill Fitzmaurice wrote: Smart guys with the available credit would be buying every neo driver they could now to turn them for a profit a month down the road when everyone else has finally caught on.

Re: Neodymium
You're absolutely right! I was thinking about that already and trying to make some plans. I just couldn't re-sell them here. I've made some awesome internet friends on this forum and everyone I've had contact with on this forum has been nothing but good to me. I couldn't in good conscience re-sell them to anyone here at a higher price for profit.Smart guys with the available credit would be buying every neo driver they could now to turn them for a profit a month down the road when everyone else has finally caught on

Just snapped up two 3012LFs for $150 shipped on ebay. I have one more T39 to build, gonna keep the other one laying around just in case.

Re: Neodymium
Anyone selling these for the same price they were 72 hours ago is an idiot and will have a rude awakening when they go to the well to replenish their stock. If they're bottom feeders who don't play by the rules I won't shed a tear for them.Greg Plouvier wrote:Guess eminence is too busy with the neo issue to enforce map pricingdcodym wrote:Still some pretty good speaker deals on Amazon as has been mentioned. Re: Neodymium
Yea, if I don't see some MAP changes start the first of the week I'm going yell very loudly.
To those who don't do retail speak, MAP is minimum advertised price. Most of this industry uses it. You're legally bound to not advertise under the minimum. You can sell for whatever you like, you just can't advertise it. It's why on my site, among many others, you have to add it to the cart to see the actual price.
I read on another forum that to gain access to the Chinese market, GM sold them the last neodymium production line in existence in the US. Talk about chickens coming home to roost.

Leland, have you considered picking up stock from other retailers while it's out there?

It's already in effect, most retailers are too slow on the uptake to know that they're getting screwed selling at yesterday's prices.Israel wrote:we will be expecting neodymium price rise how soon, one day, one week , one month?????

Nice one. That's the next phase of my plan. Getting the build kit sans speakers from Leland and making with the sawdust.Bruce Weldy wrote:Just got notification that my 2512s shipped....woohoo!!!
