No, but I rebuilt it this summer. For the lack of a half dozen 2x4 joist ties the damn thing was splayed six inches at the top plates.

BTW my Tacoma doesn't even fit in my garage, until I get rid of my work bench and build a wall fold up one.

Garage space is worth it's weight in gold up here in Maine's winters. It is not unheard of to park your Harley in the living room over the cold season. Not you Harley......the one you ride. Well I guess I ride you about your bass thing so you can park in my living room for the winter.
I looked into a fold up work bench but wouldn't be strong enough I feel to work off from. But for building and manufacturing the cabs on it would be ok.

Just got back to town. My job is sending me out every week. It is still not finished due to the finishing issue with vapor mentioned before. It seems to have settled down ATM so I may try to get it into the garage this weekend.

OKay I just have a brief report but will try to add more soon. It is finally done. On my initial tests at 50 v the GusGus song from teh Bassiest Songs thread made my eyes vibrate, lights shake and my hair move in my garage. I have a gig on the 22nd so hopefully we can get a good report. Very promising off the bat though, well worth the trouble and size.

Now when youve had them a while, what sound do you prefer, t60 or t39?

Is that 60 big enought for you to decide not to bring it in some occasions?

What music do you play?

I've built two t30 and have two more 3012 lfs and im curious what direction to go with them

T60 for sure. I just did a house party the other night, first time I used the T39s since the T60 was built. They hit low enough on 90% of the music, until dubstep came on. They they just don't have the gut wrenching properties, nor is the SQ as the T60 IMO. The T60 seems to give a fuller sound and more authority to the bass. Even with all the cabin gain of a turn of the century sized room, opened to a larger area.

The thing is I still haven't been able to AB test them on a level playing field but I think user Jonbarnhardt and I should be able to remedy this with some listening tests in the near future. We will have T60, THT, 2 different width and drivered T39s, and not sure what else he has laying around his shop (which is as big as a small venue).

Only this last one, since it was a residence there wasn't any double doors to go through. It was between the T39s and a THT, I took the T39s, not sure if that was the right choice. Any commercial gigs should be no issue, on its maiden voyage I had to push it over a 3ft hard snowbank since they never cleared the loading area after the snow plows came through. Stairs are a bit challenging, but if you make a plan or have help shouldn't be an issue.

I really like not having to set aside a real estate and time to V-plate. Also the placement options it naturally has, make it slick when setting up. My whole rig can sit in less than 70 sq feet if needed.

When I am hired weddings mainly so top 40, oldies, country, and some polkas. When not whatever the crowd dictates, I haven't progressed into mixing my own stuff yet.

Keep your stack going. Not sure the 5hz difference would be worth breaking up the T30s. Not to mention scalablity and the SQ of Tubas should be near each other.
