Just put a mattress against the back wall and lean against it when you fire them bad boys up. That way you shouldn't go flying too much.

This insures that all the cones move forward at the same time when there is positive power to the positive terminal. Wire a 9 volt battery to a speakon wired + to +, - to -. Plug into the jack plate and the cone should move forward and stay there.
