Would running the system through an RTA help tune the high and low frequecies?

You don't run the system through an RTA, you use an RTA to measure the system response. You use EQ to adjust system response.

Unfortunately, this receiver doesn't have the ability to EQ just the center channel. The towers sound great as they are so I don't want to EQ the incoming signal.

Since the towers and center have almost the same response something isn't right somewhere. Try the center with either the left or right feed to rule out the receiver.

Good suggestion Bill. I did what you recommended just now. Hooked the curved SLA up to the left channel on the receiver to see if there's a difference. Didn't seem to change it much or at all as far as I could tell.

Here's a short video demonstrating the difference in sound. Video starts with just the right channel (tower) playing, then I balance it to the left channel (curved SLA), then back to tower, then back to SLA again.

Assuming everything is wired correctly and the center is filled with polyfill it could be placement. I'd see what happens when it's placed the same as one of the sides.

Straight away do a battery test using a 1.5v battery to be sure all the midbass cones move in the same direction. I'm hearing a low frequency loss, which one or more midbasses being out of polarity would explain.

Just confirmed with an AA battery that all the midbass cones move in the same direction together

FIGURED OUT THE ISSUE! It was an ID10T error. :bash: :slap:

I had the HP crossover wired wrong. Basically had the 5 and 15uf caps backward. Sounds much better now!
