I decided to upgrade to an Infinity 860w driver, it has a lot more xmax than the MCM. I swapped the MCM over to a friend's 4" TrT that I posted a build thread on recently.

So what is the performance difference the 2 drivers? Is the Infinity a direct bolt in replacement for the MCM?

The bolt pattern is the same, but it is a little larger diameter, so you'll have to drill new pilot holes for the bolts.

Performance is much better for the Infinity, as it has ~5mm or so more xmax and takes double the RMS wattage. Infinity has reportedly had some quality control issues lately, but my driver had no problems.

I think the Infinity 860w will be my go-to driver from now on.
