Could be a good time to take up Bass though... :noob: :loler:

Considering that anyone who would do something like this to their guitar is a bonehead - I'd say I certainly have the right tools to play bass.

I don't care what anyone says, that is about as funny as it gets...

Yeah, understanding and working in with the bonehead drummer is essential :fruit:

Headed for a morning overdub session with my bonehead bass player. He and my bonehead drummer are so damn good that they only put up with my meager talents because I have a good PA.

You can always play in the football game if you are the only guy with a football. I've found my football.

Titebond II is the industry standard in the custom bass building world. That is an easy repair and one that I have done twice, once for a bass of mine, scarf joint came unglued, and once on a Les Paul knockoff for a friend. It might suck when it happens, but it is really easy to fix.

On any other guitar, I would have done it myself. This one means too much to not have a pro do it.

It has forced me to get out the '76 ES335 and play it. Sounds pretty good.

I stood up with it to go into the control room last night...the guys asked, "Well, what are you gonna do with this one?"

The whole incident was recorded as it happened when I got up to go stop the recorder after a take. We are thinking of adding it to the end of the CD.

That would actually make a great story indeed.

Well.....I got it back from the Doc yesterday.

Kinda' crappy pic with the phone. The line you see doesn't show that bad without the flash. It's not glue, but wax he put on it. You can't hardly feel the line at all.

Next month it goes back for a re-fret.....I guess it's time. The ES335 goes in for a re-fret soon after.
