Can you believe that all that low end can come from a 12" driver. Try a stack of 4 of them.

I wanna built another one asap but I gotta built a pair of OT12's first.
Here is a 60hz test tone..... 118db at 21.2v from 7ft. way!!

and it's in a bad spot in my room positioned in a less than desirable way!
Is it normal to feel afraid to turn it up to the 50v limit because it might break?! because that's how I felt!! It was hard to take the pic while plugging my ears!! I though I was gonna break too!! Haha!!
One last thing... I guess a QSC PLX1602 is under powering the sub? I was afraid to go higher also because the amp was almost maxed out (solid signal light just below clipping).

As long as all of your ducks are in a row let it rip. But be sure you have followed the guidelines in the plans for protection and construction. I routinely flog mine at full power and have nothing but smiles on faces when I do.
The charts do not do justice on the doubling of the cabs. It sounds much better that the charts would leave you to believe. Much smoother and full. So having said that get your other T39 built ASAP you will not be disappointed.

I'd say that's normal. It was/is for me at least.
Congratulations on your build and stay with it.

Great looking box man. Very nice.

Good job
118 dB is plenty loud hey! All that from a single twelve enjoy your next builds and the finishing stages on this one.
