Finished the cab tonight, looking mighty pretty (considering I built it). I had to file down the tweeter holes to make them fit. I did the before mentioned triple drilling in order to avoid cracking tweeter frames but one still ended breaking (that's why I buy extra

). Regardless enjoy the photos, I apologize in advance, there are a lot of them.
All Wired Up (front)
All Wired Up (internal)
Can you tell I like hot glue?

				Finish photographs part 2
You can never have too much pillow stuffing
Gasket tape all around with machine screws + inserts, you bet it's airtight
Dad likes it

I love the tiger stripes (end grain of BB visible from front)

				Last part

Woofer close-up
Yep, it's as big as my TLAH's
That's 18 5.25 inch drivers and 24 tweeters for those who are counting

Not bad at all. I need to build some SLAs, just need to find some relatively cheap drivers for them, I've got a million tweeters sat in boxes from both Leland and a sale over here.

Looks fantastic! Man, that's a lot of wiring to do. But when it's a labor of love, you don't care.

Your Dad is awesome for helping you with this project. I hope to do many things like this with my son as he gets older. I can't tell in the pics, but have you already applied the finish?

Yeah that is finished with 2 coats of deft, it is clear ish but is a varnish like finish and thus is easier to see in person. The gloss is much more noticeable in person. I did the tlah with 3 coats of deft and cussed myself out (menrally) because it was too thick and looked spotty, 2 coats much better.

Buy the woofers I did, 2 bucks a piece in a case of 30. 3 bucks a piece including shipping. Aurasound 5.25 I'm on my phone but look them up when you get the chance, they match spec and 6 of them is like 9 4 inch drivers so they go farther. Only thing is it scales up the cab a little.
