The bonus of having multiple subs, placed in the needed locations, is that room modes and nodes will settle down.....= sub bliss.

part 2 . . .
Immediately after hearing my first 24" build . . .
It took the better of 8 intensive very hot weeks to complete the 2 30" THTLP's.
For starters they went 2 feet behind the MLP, regular couch, 13 feet from front wall. in a 15' wide room so each mouth is 18" into a wall but the room is another 10 feet deep and opens to a dining room/kitchen combo, hence the 5K ft3 estimations.
each sits on a trolley made of 2 small harbor freight furniture dollies connected to be 4 feet long. that puts them about 3-4 inches off a wooden floor with the 18" side on the trolley, but they are "mobile" for one person to scoot them around for placement variety. I used some 30 ft pieces of 16 gauge from the bash 300 amps.
First listenings, well maybe there is some builders bias but just an initial adjustment with a ratshack spl meter through the onkyo 818 and well . . .
good sound and no localization
there is this atom bomb thingy in Black OPs that even at less than 1/4 on the amp shakes everything, the floor, the chair and anything not PL'd down.
and it sounds deeeeep and clear, for music, movies, games.
If the content is there you'll hear and probably feel it.
'cause I DON'T HAVE TO TURN IT DOWN
next is some REW after some xt32 (minimum xo is 80) and seeing how that dovetails into data comparisons wilth REW and settings transferrrd to the 1124. It seems like a chicken/egg proposition but we all knew that going in. . .
I'd appreciate any feedback/input WRT tuning things in, even to find out what shouldn't or didn't work.
