Thanks Jonoskip!

I see you have two Jacks 112. How do you like those? Do you use both of them all the time? I have the plans for the Jack 112, so I'm considering making those too...
I'm also playing a Cort bass (5-string), by the way

.

I hesitated a while about breaking in drivers, but after reading Bill's post about it, I'm finally breaking in my woofer. I guess the tweeter doesn't need this. Should I break in the Mid Range driver too? If so, should I use 30kHz/10V or is that different for mid range drivers
Added a speakon/L-pad panel at the back. Will be adding the top panel probably today...

NO.

Something in the driver's pass-band. Give them a comfortable voltage. Start low and turn up... let the cones move a bit, but ease off well before they start bottoming out. It's not an exact science. Any is better than none, but even none will work itself out with a little use.

I like my Jacks but I don't have much experience to compare with other cabs. Sadly I am yet to really crank them up as I'm only playing in my garage at the moment and I don't want to piss the neighbours off! So I usually just use 1 but that is the beauty of building them separately.
I like my Cort but am starting to think about what else there may be out there. No real desire to change yet, just keeping an open mind.

I skipped breaking in the midrange driver 30kHz is OK, but 550kHz is driving me nuts.
Today I did the low pass and mid range band pass, could not resist to play some bass at low level

The crossovers seem to be OK...
Still need to do the braces and insulation, high pass filter and access panel.

Unless you are a dog, you shouldn't have any problem with 30khz.....but it's also not going to do a very good job of breaking in your driver.

Yesterday I showed it to the guitarplayers of our band and even the most suspicious one was impressed. The other one wants to team up with me to build an XF Guitar cab...

Tell him you'll help out on the XF if he goes to a 15W amp.

He's the guy who is very modest with his volume settings

. It's the other one who is always complaining that he can't hear himself playing

You should have one of the coils standing up to avoid cross-talk

Crosstalk can be a problem when the LP/BP/HP filters are on the same board. When mounted on separate boards the coils are too far apart for it to be a concern.
