Same for me, except I use Leland's hurricane nuts and slather the bottom of the flange in epoxy, then gently tap it in with a small mallet.

I pulled the mcm out today, and it was interesting. When it met xlim the accordion ripped of the vc, and the cone smashed into the brace. I'm thinking of scraping it to get some money back, but while I'm at it I'm gonna do a dissection and learn about the anatomy of speakers. I will put up some pics

the leds, carpet and gto804 came in today! I will finish up the cab and then I will be ready to install. I need to talk to her bf and tell him to take her out for a day!

haha if it was pro audio I would do duratex, but everything else in a car is carpet so why not? don't worry my t60s are duratexed, I learned my lesson!

has anyone dealt with the led strip lighting? I can't figure out how to solder jumpers to each strip, it is soo frustrating :wall:

Apply a dab of solder to each point/wire/strip/whatever. This is called "tinning". Once you have everything "tinned', then hold the wire to the strip, and heat. Remove heat immediately when solder melts.
