Email received from Grant Brown @ Peavey:

"Basically you pull the short jumper wire in the power supply that jumps between lug one and lug two to convert the amp from 120v to 230v. You should also replace the circuit breaker with one thats half the value of the 120v model. Thats pretty much all you do".

They've actually gone up in price since I bought mine here. I paid 217 quid for one but now they sit at 315. I'm looking at the Synq amps that PulseMan uses now if only because they're not lit neon blue when switched on. :P

I've been testing out my new T45 with the IPR 1600 and I have to say, It's difficult to hit 50v on it... the closest I can get is 40v, with the average being 35v.
I am coming directly out of my computer, into the driverack, sub crossed over at 35hz/90hz, been playing around with the limiters to try and get the best gain structure, but even when I relax the limiter on the driverack I just hit the DDT on the IPR and it wont go past 35V either way. I'm going to give it a go with my expensive hybrid tube/ss amp that I use for my studio mains, I know that one will output 70V with no load.
That leads me to another question... when you were getting 50v, was that with a load connected or not?

I did a little video when I first got the amp, 60hz sine, no load, DDT flickering.

yeah I get 50ish Volts with no load, but once loaded it goes down, significantly. Are limiters meant to be set with no load or load? I need to read some limiting docs again...

I need to convert one IPR 1600 to 240V operation, I've read here and in many other forums how to do it but couldn't understand exactly where's the jumper in the SMPS part of the board that needs to be cut. It would be very helpful if you could show where the jumper needs to be cut so I posted a link to a thread in a different forum with good pictures of the IPR internals so you may copy the picture and mark the place to be cut and repost it.

Thank you
