Thanks! I'm hoping my grills arrive in the next few days to give them the completed look.

We'll probably start on the Titans tonight.

We didn't do any work over the weekend due to busy schedules, but we finally got some more work done on the Titans last night.

All of the large pieces are rough cut. The sides are cut with the lines drawn out, and I also made all four chamber reducers since we're using Lab 12's. The last thing we did last night is attach the drive anchors to the baffle.

The 27" wide panels look huge compared to my little T18's upstairs. :D

Not much to see, but here are a few pictures from my phone:

The grills for the OmniTops finally came in and I'm really happy with the way they turned out. They're the RH-3152 grills from Reliable Hardware.

The grills are set in place for the pictures, but not screwed down yet.

Titans are coming along slowly, but surely:

Nice grills! Have you thought about putting fabric behind? I always thought it looked better like that

Thanks. We'll probably leave them the way they are for now, but we had talked about using the air conditioner filters if we decide to go that route.

Did u bend those ends yourself? How'd u do it w/o it not looking straight?

It's actually a straight cut, the shadow is making an optical illusion.

Those work really well and you don't even have to do any splices on an OT12.

We're almost done with the construction phase on the Titans. We're hoping to get them buttoned up over the next few days and slap some duratex on there.

We decided to go with dual jack plates on the front and rear to give us flexibility on positioning, hence the holes in the front and back. We left the back long on purpose since I'm going to flush trim the outside edges with my router.

Credit goes to "anomalous" and "bassmonster" for the inspiration on the (subtle) curved bracing.

Speakons front and rear? Choice. Those are looking spot on.

Thanks! We're not exactly sure where we're installing the subs yet. We'd like to wall or corner load them, but I'm still not sure if we'll have that available, so we decided to order a few more jack plates from Leland so we don't have to stress over it. :D

You may want to paint the inside of the horn path before you put the last side on. The innermost visible parts become harder to reach once the cab is closed.

Sounds good. Thanks for the tip.

Alternatively just grab a long handled small headed decorator's roller. It's not like you can't use it for the exterior paint...
