I am building these to go with the 20" I all ready have.
I am a builder so if someone asks me how much lower does the (?)" bigger ones go, I can have some real words to say. Up to 30".
I am done the 30" and they await paint. BUt I have a few more weeks on the 4 Dr2oo's, so I am waiting so I can shoot them all once with Duratex.

I agree with the fact that 2 single loaded would be much more manageable moving wise.
Trust me I am mover at least once a week.

30" goes no lower than the others.
It goes louder at lower points in its pass band.

The pass band is limited by the horn path length. (42 Hz)
Efficiency is a function of horn mouth area. 30" = bigger 'n better.

Just to give you a taste of where I am and what it is going to look like.
I also possibly have an easy DIY way of hanging multiple cabs or stacking. We'll see in a few.
These things have taken a back seat for a long time and I need to get them done.

The pics of your dr200s on the Authorized Builders Showcase look great. I'm about to build 4 and had a couple of questions. How are you stacking them? Is it just the corners holding them together. Did you use the big or small corners? Did the corners work ok with with curved fronts? Have any pictures with the grills on? Again they look great!

I have not put the grills on yet because I am still thinking on how it will go on with my idea of flying them. So it is still a work in progress.
I used the small corners from the kit that Leland provides at Speakerhardware.com. In that picture I just stacked them carefully for the photo. I WOULD NEVER do that in a live setting at a gig. I need to get a hold of some crank up stands that aren't going to sink me, and that can hold up at least a 100lbs.
Each Dr weighs 50lbs (bathroom scale).
The curved front is a half inch back from the line that Bill has on the front edge of the plans and about inch and half over to make the radius.
I than used that for the template for the rest.
They sound Crystal Clear compared to ANYTHING I have heard. Excluding the big acts out there.
