I'm messing around with the system architect right now, mapping out the xover points and stuff. I know I'm suppossed to hipass at 35 with a 24 db slope. I assume the lowpass is at 100, with like a 12 db slope? What else do I need here, and what should i put on the tops?

hehe. I'm just a little overexcited, but I really want to figure this stuff out.
HPF at 35hz with a 24dB slope? How many, and which subs are you using? Same question for the tops.

He's using T-30s and the recommended HPF is 24db per octave @ 35Hz.
You must use a high pass filter set to 35 Hz and that has a slope of at least 24dB per octave to realize the real potential of the design
:horse:

I prefer the 48 db slope in a butterworth for a HPF but he should be ok with the 24.

AntonZ answered that question...

Oh wow. Yeah, sorry about that. Like I said, was around 6 am (really did not want to study for statics)

At the moment, running 2 tuba 30s, and some unknown direct radiator tops I found in someones basement, they are loaded with eminince drivers and tweeters (will have more specs soon, dont actually have them on me). Going to be building some tops, but I'm still deliberating between DRs and Omnis (I've built a number of electric guitars/basses, acoustic guitars, ukes, and a shitty violin, but all of that was really router/bandsaw/sanding... I'm not confident in my *carpentry* skills)

I know I know... IITP. However, they dont mention where you Lopass them. I actually just found the thread on the xti dsp, while browsing, cause my searches of Crossover, Xti crossover, Xti eq and the like didnt turn up any super usefull results. I know you guys get this all the time, and I hate to say this, but I'm actually trying to keep my noobishness reserved (only asking like half the questions I want to, and just searching for hours for the other answers). At least I did say "I know I'm suppossed to hipass at 35 with a 24 db slope", so I got that section of the plans out of the way.

My apologies to antonZ, didnt see the full detail of you post.
