Thanks for the replies everyone. Phaedras, I don't think it matters which one the positive is on as both drivers will receive the same voltage anyway, but it would have bugged me. I wired it the way you said, but it wasn't drawn in the diagram. The diagram I drew was just a representation to show how I basically wired it by connecting the two positives/negatives and only connecting the leads to one of the drivers, while that driver was connected to the other through a connecting wire.

This is a good point. I'm more worried about the drivers than the box, but they would have to take the entire box to take the drivers now wouldn't they?

Good luck with that is all I'll say. I'm not as worried about the sub as I am about my car. If the car is damaged there is no insurance that covers damage not caused by me. (I only have liability insurance, the minimum to be legal- if I hit someone else my liability insurance pays for their damage, but none of mine) So if my car gets damaged and it's my fault I have to pay all on my own dime. Hence, I take great care of it and why I'm very concerned.
