When I get my OT12 built, our rig will be similar. If the punch I am after centers around 200-300, the total sound I'm after won't happen until I get the OT12 done. I am much better off with the T39 than I was before, but this new setup will take some time to learn to use. Some people can just dial this stuff in. I can always hear a difference when I make an adjustment, I just can't always tell if it's the right thing to do. Some things may be counterintuitive as well. In other words, changing a frequency setting may not sound good by itself, but may work if other supporting changes are made. The only thing I am sure of is that I am on the way to having the tools to get the sound I want.
