It doesn't matter.

Seth, I’ve used white Duratex before and it works great! Spray on and rolled. Good stuff!

Bruce, I had to get custom covers for my current subs. I added casters to them a the OEM covers no longer work. I have a good connection for custom covets.

Himhiself, I have a feeling you’re right. It just seems like it will be moving so much more air!

Madmallard, I put all 4 in a cluster because crossed over at 180hz all four cabinets are within 1.56 feet from each other. Horizontally in a straight row the end cabinets are over 1.56 feet from each other.

It's 1.56 feet from the next adjacent cab, not from end to end of the array.

Bill, sorry I misunderstood you. I thought the cabinets either touching each other or 1.56feet apart in this scenario? Can I have eight cabinets lined up and the end cabinets would still couple?

Can you explain and clarify what happens to the end speaker boxes of a horizontal row of four making the end cabinets farther than 1.56 feet from the cabinets on each end. If each of the four cabinets are 16” in width this makes the end cabinets 32” apart from each other. The distance to couple them at 180hz is 1.56 feet roughly 18.75” This is roughly double the coupling distance farther apart. What happens to the end cabinets and the sound as a whole?

Does this help? It works with any number of cabinets.

Bill, Thank you for clarifying.
