Done except for handles and feet which will go on later today.
Only a couple of whoopsies.
I tried the sub to look for air leaks. No sound… rrrrrr.
Well wasn’t that stupid. I hooked up the 10” to the tweeter crossover.

Next was the Krylon Crystal Clear. - DO NOT USE THIS STUFF.
First it runs the second you wet it out. If you don’t wet it out it causes more of a frosted look.
Second it does not play well with Rustoleum enamel. It crazed the Rustoleum. So much for my glossy black. Yes, the Rustoleum was completely dry. And I’ve sprayed Rustoleum over other acrylic brands without problems.
So I wet sanded down to 2000 and quit when I remembered this was a “learner” speaker.

Once it was well sealed I applied a bead of black silicon to give contrast and hide the glue.

This will be only for playing bass but decided to add 4 tweeters because … well, just in case. I wanted as much of the horns visible as possible. With 3 points of attachment it’s very secure.

So here it is followed by some more build pics:

Sounds great. But I’m not at the level of your playing great so not able to critique like an expert

The most recent plans are excellent. I can’t imagine building without such a great set of plans

Looks great dude. I had to put clear silicone between the diffuser and the tweets too, because it had a loud rattle.
