SO i WAS intending to test these cabs with the t48 Friday day time before they went out into the world that night- but medium disaster struck . For some reason when they were finished (well, finished but not glue-scraped fillered and painted) I found that the piezo array wont play on either cab.I opened one up and all the connections seem fine. I went ahead with the event with the back-up tops and it went well, but it was a damn shame to not have the DR200s there after all the effort i'd put in to get em done in time.

I suspect its a wrong or faulty crossover component , but will trouble shoot and hopefully find the problem tmrw.

thanks man !

Oh man!! That's rough. Hopefully, you'll get it sorted out soon enough.

Wow thank you for this post! Your speakers look beautiful..
I am thinking about buying these plans and making these with only a circular saw and table saw but it looks almost impossible without a CNC machine.. At my skill level. Now I will look for a CNC machine first..
Do cnc files come with the plans or did you make them yourself? :D

I built every prototype cab using only a table saw and hand power tools. I'd never design a cab that required tools that the average handyman doesn't have.

If you have and know how to use a table saw and router and/or jig saw, the plans walk you through the steps. Any skill level can build them, as long as you know how to use the tools. I definitely wouldn't put off a build in anticipation of a CNC router that will have it's own learning curve to boot.
Build in process - 2 WH6, one Alpha 6a loaded, one PRV Audio 6MB250-NDY loaded

Two 2x6 shorty SLA Pro's
One T39, 16", 3012LF loaded
Tall AutoTuba, 20" wide, 2x 8" MCM 55-2421
TruckTuba, 8½" wide, 2x 8" MCM 55-2421
