Can't tell you how many times someone has asked for more monitor or some high-end in their mix.....and before I can even locate the knob, they yell, "Perfect! That's it!". I just smile and move on.

This post is great. I use what Bruce and Brett talk about in every day life. It's easier to just tell people what they wanna hear and pretend that you did what they ask of if they'll never know the truth or it'll eventually get done. Like fixing the sagging basement door nobody ever uses but you.

I've been in studios where they had a whole bank of knobs that weren't connected to anything. They were the producers/managers knobs. When they wanted more bass or treble, they were pointed to those knobs if they wanted to adjust anything. - lol

Very nice. I've not seen this before. I think the switch in the COWBELL section needs to be labeled 'MORE'.
Maybe this was designed by the same people who made the Rane Pseudoacoustic Infector?
Awesome!
You should sell that as a plugin for pro-tools/DAW guys, so they can 'tweak' stuff when the producer/band member/manager/annoying random person is looking over their shoulder and offering 'helpful' hints.
