I was looking at these too. What is the effect of too high Qts? Plans max is 1.1 and these are 1.34. What the heck is Qts? (I'm building 4 mid SLAs)y2kindyz wrote:Looking great so far. What speakers are you going to use? Are you building 6 or 9 speaker version?
9 speaker version. Using these as the mains. They're a little high on the Qts at 1.3

Having used the linked to speakers I can't say that I hear a boomy bass. But, not having heard the recommended speakers I can't compare.
The ones I used sound very good and I've had zero problems. I love the sound. I stuffed them very full full with 2 pillows.
