The schools liability was always there. The decision to not call an ambulance puts them at risk for negligent after the fact. This is a whole lot more serious issue. I have to ask myself why the area of the gym that held the equipment wasn't being supervised while kids where present.
I NEVER leave speakers on stands when I am away from the sight. All equipment is lowered, powered down, unplugged, and covered.
