QSC GX7 is a good fit at 1000 watts per channel at 4 ohms.
However, there some folks here that use the IPR3000....maybe they will chime in.
My only concerns are that you are playing down to 30-35hz, creating a lot of heat by running both sides at 4 ohms. And that type of music doesn't usually get much of a break for the amp to cool. At a 50 volt limit - you are probably ok. I wouldn't hesitate running T39s high-passed at 45-50hz on that amp.knitatoms wrote:Thanks for the replies. But 4 at full tilt when 735W/roughly 3 amps is a 1/3 rating?

Since it is rated for a 70 Volt swing, it is more than enough for this application. I don't have Peavey IPR in my rack, because they were not available yet. If they were, I'd have bought them instead. The QSC GX series amps are a fine choice.
