Every week... at least one person comes up and asks about the setup. It just looks bad ass too. I have ppl come from chicago clubs and can't believe the output and clarity from such a compact package.

Yes... I tried with and without the filters. Everyone agrees that it looks a lot "cooler" this way.

I actually was baffled on the grill attachment. I wanted to go no show with the screws on the front. I could have done it if I added the bends on the ends but I already had them made without the bends.

I took the screws that I was going to use to attach them and used them as standoffs. Then I use some high strength neo magnets to stick the grill to the screws. Works out really well. They have not fallen off! I used 2 per screw. They have a 2lb hold capacity per magnet. I'll take a pic of that later today and show you how it works.

Ok.. just unloaded my trailer and weighed these puppies.

Shorty - 21.35 lbs.
Tall - 36.45 lbs.

Shorty might be a little more stout because of the extra top hat on the top.

And because of the extra top (not just top hat). Think of a tall one cut in 2 - each half would be close to half the weight - the crossover would put it slightly out though (crossover distortion :slap: )... BUT each half wouldn't have a top (or base, depending on which bit you have after the cut).

Nice work DJ.LJ ! Can you tell me where you bought your grills looks interesting? What are they I was thinking of buying custom cut grills from Reliable Hardware since my SLA Pros don't have the grills yet? Thanks! :D

That is where I ordered them from. I think it took about 2-3 weeks to get them in. I should have ordered them when I started the build. I didn't get any bends in them either. Kinda wish I did. I think it would add strength to them and give you more mounting options from the sides. The magnet/screw method I did worked out pretty well though.

I didn't do the bends because of the huge extra fees involved... oh well. I already spent that much on them, I should have done it.
