Thanks again for the input. I will keep the AKG at home and experiment with what I have to work with when we get there. Yes, this time will be very minimalist. The main area we need to play to is about 50'x50' directly in front of us. It will be very interesting to see what kind of response we get.

Did a practice today and I thought it went really good. Played all songs pretty much straight away the first time through, plus some good improv, so I suspect tomorrow will go well. Looking forward to firing up the rig for this.

Gig went really well and we ended up not using any mics at all. Video sounded really good and got lots of great comments/attention. It's not my video and it's on Facebook so can't post a link, but again, I was really happy with it. Woohoo!
