the otops worked flawless on my birthday party by the way 
the first noise complaint came after tinkering with my eq for about three songs or so!
I really had no idea I was playing that loud. at initial setup I had to turn down the gain for my tops by about 15dB even though I had my subs wall loaded! these things are loud, almost obnoxious!
I had some friends over who are in the pro audio business and they almost unanimously agreed on the sound quality! in fact I got offered a couple of gigs, this summer in a local outdoor venue, right then and there
what amazed me was the clarity omnitops have when playing really loud, there's no stress or or harshness to the sound whatsoever! I've definitely got a new friend called midrange!
the only problem I have now is that I really have to build me some subs to keep,up with them, let's just say that the addiction has kicked in
