It shouldn't be a problem, but it appears that you didn't double check the measured length of panel 2 in place before cutting to final length.

You are correct Bill. I may trim the extra off once panel 4 is installed. Is there an easy way to make sure panel 4 is the correct height on the clamping side?
Thanks, Drew

Well panels 4 and 5 went on today with the help of my wife. I plan on doing panel 6 the baffle tomorrow. What is everyone using for epoxy?

I used the standard 5 minute epoxy.
Remember, don't mix more than you can use within its set time.

Well, panel 6 aka the baffle didn't go too well. I cut the whole a little big and I don't think there is enough wood left for the tee-nuts to grab on to. I will try again tomorrow.

Bummer.
At least it wasn't permanent. You can always cut the old one to make braces.

Yes, the first one was just a little big so I figured I would trace the old whole with a sharpie then cut inside that line. Should I cut the whole on a 30-45 degree angle?

you could always add/PL a slim piece of ply to the inside of the hole at every t nut....

If you're having trouble with the size, experiment with thin cardboard until you get the hole size right, then use it as a template.
I kept the hole as small as I could, and found no need to chamfer.

Yes, I may get a piece of cardboard to try to get size right.

I'm getting close to putting the braces in on the tht. How are they fastened in place. There are some that aren't going to be able to be screwed or brad nailed. Do I just put them in place and then rub pl premium all around the joints to attach them?

I'm assuming you are speaking of the parallel braces, and not the corner braces.
Run a bead down each edge and slide them in. Try not to touch either panel until you get close to where you want it. A brad nail or two to keep them in place while the glue sets. Since they are only for bracing, they don't need the same scrutiny for having airtight beads.

Also, if the cab is laying on it's side, you could put a temporary blocking to support the side of the brace that is opposite the outside, to that the brace will remain square to the panels.

Where should the braces go? Should they be lined up in a straight line or should they be staggered or does it matter? This is for the THT LP.
Thanks
