i don't have a recliner ( to expensive for now ) but do have a good L-shaper sofa.
lost of cold belgian beer ( we are quite spoiled here ) in he fridge and digital tv.
now if i just could find some time to build a TT that's gonna serve as table next to the sofa
so i have a place to put my beer and chips life would be perfect.

When I wrote about the beers, I was thinking about adding a note on your beers Ketoet. Canadian red beer is not bad, actually great when compared to the average American beer. Belgian beers are better. By a rather large margin. Some time ago I traded my old vinyl record player and some vinyl for a crate of Oude Geuze Boon. I sure enjoyed that crate.

Stella Artois is the only Belgian available here, and I imagine that's the equivalent of Budweiser for you. The best Canadian beers are from the microbreweries of Quebec, and are way ahead of typical reds from the likes of Rickards (Molson), though those reds going out still taste better than Budweiser does going in.
One fine Canadian microbrew is Fin du Monde, ostensibly named in honor of explorers who believed they had reached the “end of the world” when they discovered North America, but being a 9% brew it more accurately describes how you feel if you drink two of them.

I second this. I now exclusively buy beers from local microbreweries.

The stella artois that's sold anywere else but
The benelux is most likely stella export (green bottles).
It isn't half as good as the real stuff.
When we (belgian airforce) go on missions abroad there's
Always a good stock of belgian beer included in the cargo list

Edit:
Some bass players from the UK are thinking with me on this one. They probably noticed Bill's comments on positioning things a bit higher, with the SLA at ear height. Don't ask where the rest of the proposed modifications to my initial sketches came from.
