Good grief, in one day lmao??? Actually all I was doing was sucking furiously on that smoke. I know, I know, it's 2012 and I should know better, but you have to have some vices!DJPhatman wrote: Even has the look of a sound-man! Smoke between lips, clenched jaw, gnashing teeth. Just needs more beer, to add to the belly, and more beard, to add to the grizzled look!
Congratulations, Grant, on your first, of many more to come, sound gigs! Cheers, Mate!
Cheers Aaron. Don't worry mate, your builds are inspirational as wellkekani wrote: I, for one, have been following your threads. The REALLY interesting thing for me is the fact that you built your "whole" system (okay, t's were there IIRC), then ran out and broke it in right away, as opposed to building one design, running that, then adding on another design, which I think most of us do.
Threads, and particularly reviews like this only further my desire to build DR's, which I don't need, but I'd love to hear. Of course, that just means a set of T39's (more than likely) and more processing equipment. But, in order to hear them, I'd have to build them.
I've got to think others are motivated by this as well!
Great job!
Aaron
Wait until you add a second pair!Grant Bunter wrote:The DR250's in particular are astounding, much more OMG than the first 2 T39's, but the lot together was OMFG!

Great job. Thanks for the build threads and thanks for the review (and festival report). Inspirational.

Thanks THTitanium Hand wrote:Sterling work Grant! I recall your first posts under your original moniker - well its certainly not so new 2 you anymore is it? Fairdinkum, built your entire P.A. and secured a great paid festival to kick off with which went without a hitch. Accolades to you mate.
Certainly inspires me to try and get out there.
