Thanks for the placement tip, I'll get it positioned properly once I put it in my dorm. But for now, my parents don't like me turning it up too much anyways, so positioning doesn't matter a whole lot at the moment.

Well, I fixed the leaks in the access cover. And was promptly told to turn it down. At least I think thats what the threat to cut the wires meant...
Right now I'm not liking the fact that my dad works at home, and his office is about 10 ft from the garage/man cave

Well then...perhaps it's time to think about your own place. That seems to be the "rite of passage"...when the subs outgrow your parents' home.
Nice build. What about a finish? At least a coat of paint?

Nah, not yet. My school requires living on campus, at least until senior year. So I get to come home for summer, at least I get free food
And I'll be finishing it soon, a coat of paint is exactly what it will be haha. Just plain black

Well, it weighs somewhere around 50 lbs. And definitely not the greatest craftsmanship ever due to the lack of access to proper equipment. But it works like a charm, and I'm happy

one last picture. I think it actually looks pretty dang good in that pic, low quality cell phone camera hides all the flaws

Nice, the metal corners give it a cool "old school" look.
