Re: Bahringer EP4000 Question.
They've been used by many people here on the forum and they're generally regarded as quite powerful and reliable for its price range. Obviously there are better more reliable options (Lab Gruppen, Crown I-Tech), but they are much much more expensive. Although the reliability of Behringer products has been spotty in the past (especially their mixers), the EP amps are often regarded as the silver bullet of Behringer's amps.unsafe8989 wrote:Thanks bro whats your opinion on the EP2500(4000) ? gonna pick up a pair tomorrow.

If reliability was a big concern I would go with the company they "borrowed" their design from .... QSC

Re: Bahringer EP4000 Question.
I currently have 3 EP1500 and they do their job. The only amp I've seen catch fire (12 inches flames coming out of it!) was a brand new EP2500 though. The replacement unit (refurbished) died after 2 years.unsafe8989 wrote:Thanks bro whats your opinion on the EP2500(4000) ? gonna pick up a pair tomorrow.
For the price asked, they are good. Next time I buy an amp, it's gonna be a lighter one though. Probably a Crown.
