The guys who were running sound for the 2011 super bowl were probably having one of those days too. That half time show was atrocious.

On another note, if your processor went and you didn't have a backup, and just drove the tops and subs with full pass from the amps would you end up blowing them too, or if you lowered the gain on the subs and ran the tops full range under reduced volume would you be able to limp through?

That's probably how i'd handle it. I'm considering getting an amp with onboard DSP just in case my driverick ever bit the dust.
