Also my jacks are in the way of putting a handle by the casters. I spaced them out too much. I should have had the handles on hand before making the holes for the jacks. :?

Well here are some pics... more to come

I bet you'll throw your back before you loose your hearing.

Am I glad I never did get started on those t48's, much less the t60's! I remember moving those sheets of 5x5 BB was a PITA, much less moving that monstrosity. And no joke, I bet four people my size would be able to fit inside a box that big.

However, it's looking good and I bet I will grab your balls (or commonly called "eyes" :slap: ) and rattle them like a british nanny shakes a newborn baby. So congrats, can't wait to hear the review.

Woops, I think I see a mistake. May be nothing but the plans only call for one horn brace (brace 2/6) to be centered on the driver hole. This is only for single loaded cabs, where dual loaded get two braces, one centered on each driver hole.

CRAP!!!!!! I just confirmed that on sketchup and in the plans. Missed that one. Well not much I can do about it now, I think cutting the braces out is not worth the issues that it will cause, they are bradded in place too.

Thinking about it the only reason I can think of is air movement. Structural integrity I can't see being the reason as 2 is better than one. Hopefully my drilled holes are enough for the movement. I may add some more before I put the side on it.

More build pics and work area pics

Made my braces too big, or put them in too tight. Should have used a square and guideboard

This insulation foam has been used for everything on this build. I just pushed the braces together tightly and drove long screws through them.

So here should be the last pics prior to closing The Ark up.

The wood at the top of the mouth is a 29" 2x4 I had laying around. It was the key to squaring it up last night during my mock up clamping session

Luckily I can still man handle it myself without handles build in yet so it is not too large for me @ 5'10" 220lbs.

Are those your speakon inputs on the bottom of the cab? I would reconsider putting them in the front mouth so that you can utilize one of the placement options for a Tuba 60: Bottom down, mouth face up into a corner (stood upright in other words).

EDIT: Looking at your other pics looks like you have put inputs in the mouth as well. Good call if so.

Day 10

Put the top on, of course didn't go as smoothly once PL was in place like it did during trial fit. Got her as square as possible. It was brought to my attention I put 1 too many braces in the 2/6 area so I drilled like I was looking for oil hopefully will alleviate the issues it may have caused.

More DOTS...
More holes in the brace.JPG
Okay stop dots!
Lower brace drilled out a bit more.JPG
put side up on screw stands I read about earlier. Of course missed one and it landed in PL causing this PL drip you see in the pic
PL ready.JPG
Applying pressure and heat, will check for a diamond in the morning.

Dots joke is here-
