Re: Omni 15 Pics are here
I'm still trying to figure out how to make the driver spacers for my O15's. Was considering routering freehand, but my bit has a collar, so if I find a frisbee or something the right size, I'll nail it in the middle.
I've had it with jig saws. The blade wanders all over hell and creation, also, the cut on the bottom looks nothing like the cut I am making on top.
I've a friend who makes furniture, so if i can't find any encouragement here, I'll see if he will make them for me.

I pulled the router out and it appears i could put a screw through the outer ring of the router could make a hole that is 5". Anything smaller than that and it will be free hand. I really would like the spacer that is exposed to be professional looking. The ones inside the box I could care less about there appearance.

I did too....until I bought a good one (Bosch in my case). Night and day. It's like cutting through butter.coolhandjjl wrote:I've had it with jig saws. .

Make yourself one of these router circle jigs. Mine will make holes down to 3" diameter.billgwaltney wrote:emm i just purchased one. Do you make the hole free hand or is there some kinda trick?
Never make circles freehand with router.

Tomorrow I'm going to stop procrastinating - WB
