Those used to be the spec horn for DR's. I still have a couple laying around.
I have specs laying around somewhere. I'll see if I can find them.

The plans now call for a diffraction horn that you build yourself. If you go that route, use the NSD2005 and the 3012HO or 2512.

Horns are Goldwood 500's, asd drivers.

I decided to use Beta 12A-II's.

And thanks for the compliments! Glad you like them.

What mods(if any) did you make for the goldwood horn?

I think I just shaved 1/4" or 1/2" off each end of the horn to make it fit inside the OT12. Not a big deal, and the horn + driver is so light the 2 screws in the middle is more than enough to hold it in place.

And techthreat sorry for so many questions but I love these cabs... Haha did you just build the horn mount spec to the piezo array mount?

Missed this one, sorry it took so long to reply.

My horns are mounted with a couple pieces of 1x2" pine board mounted vertically. Nothing special.

I forgot to mention, these are black Duratex spray grade shot from a wagner electric texture gun.
So how did you like that gun?

Its VERY messy but it gets the job DONE and FAST. You'll paint cabs in 3 minutes or less. In retrospect I wish I had rolled them, better control.

So you have rolled Duratex before what size roller did you use? I have the 4" roller and my OCD self just cant get it down :( that's why I was looking @ that sprayer. Most of my cabs are done in Line-X...but I just added 8 more cabs to my rig and cant swing Line-X pricing this year...was hoping to get close to the same texture using the Duratex

Why not get the cheapo harbor freight texture spray gun? It works well, and I assume you already have an air compressor.

The shop where I build @ has a compressor available but not much heat....so the 65 deg. minimum temp is gonna be tough to hit. I remembered those bigger hoppers when I did my popcorn ceiling...cant imagine using one of those bruits to do the Duratex or is there smaller one I'm not seeing?
