To control boom set the Q (bandwidth) to middle of the scale, set the gain to -10 to -12dB, set the frequency to 30-32 Hz to start. If the cab booms sweep the frequency control upward until it goes away. Increase the Q, which reduces the bandwidth, until you hear the boom start to occur again, then reduce the Q a smidge. That will notch the boom without affecting anything else. I don't use parametric for anything but boom notching, for everything else standard shelving and peaking filters work better and are easier to deal with.

Have you checked your intonation? What you're doing is changing the length of the string (adjusted at the bridge) in order to make the string in tune while open, and while played at the 12th fret. The rest of the frets will be in tune at that point. In reality some frets are not perfectly in tune even when correctly set-up. Maybe you're one of the lucky ones that can hear the difference.

wounded horse, may I suggest that you wait getting the other parts until you've tried out your O2X12. It might resolve your dilemma. 8)

I used one of those for about a year, and found it to be very muddy sounding, and inefficient. The worst direct radiator cab I've ever owned. I think you'll find your O15TB to be a big improvement.
