As I was building the v-plate i thought that it (or more specifically the v-plate attachment) is like an end-of-build exam to test your newly acquired woodworking skills! I couldn't bring myself to drill holes in the side of 2 newly built speakers (as per the plans)... it therefore had to be attached a different way. Looks like you thought the same as you were building and have designed your own system

Thanks guys. I do appreciate the votes of encouragememts and congratulations - I'm not very good at it myself but there is power in celebrating others successes.

And for the mass of my lab 12, 19" T30's: 100lb dead (45kg), or perhaps a whisker under.

A couple more photos. Trying the v plate (unnecessary, before finished, but hey everyone does it) in the lounge - needed the space in the garage to work on the plate so the subs had to come in the house, of course. And the second picture is how i move them. Had to break Jude off chewing the trolley for the photo.

It's incredible that I look at 45Kg and think, wow, that's heavy. I've already changed my definition of what is acceptable for the weight of a sub!
