 Superb! The Grimace purple on the arrays are a fantastic touch. I'm interested to hear what the process involves to eq. the DR's and the time involved? I've not done any eq before and it seems a bit of a 'dark art'

Nicely done once again

I've got just the place where you won't annoy the street
Laughing,
Hmmm prolly gonna cost me what it would cost Tom (to come here) to freight it...

It would be interesting to see how 4 x BP102's stacked up against 2 x lite 3012's.

Looking forward to tomorrow.

If I get any bother I'll just load it up and run it out to the farm (20k away) and really crank it!

Cheers TH,
I plan to print off a DR SPL chart and mirror image the response curve above my crossover point initially, then hit auto EQ on the DEQ and see what changes.
Then I might play around with what my (not so good) ears tell me.

The main focus tomorrow is to ensure everything is working as it should be...

I did exactly as I posted above.
Holy shit.

These things are amazing.
What really got me was I am used to listening to single piezo's and being able to hear them.
I couldn't hear HF in the arrays so pulled the module off and disconnected the woofer. No probs, shouldn't have bothered!

Yep, everything is working...

After a HF problem with the WH8's discovered today, HF filters in each DR revisited. Yes there was HF but not a lot (Which was why I pulled the module on one in the first place).
Filters fixed, DR's heaps better!

Now I understand what the fuss is about these cabs :hyper:

Grant what did you find the problem was with the filters and how did you sort it out? I am getting ready to build my x-overs today for my DR250's.

The problem was, I thought I had covered the schematics, but didn't!
I left out a wire from HF - in to HF - out.

Having done them on seperate boards (compared to the LF LP), I removed modules, took out boards, added wire then reinstalled everything. Then retested.

Grant, i would love to try these, but these looks really hard for a novice woodworker with no tools, that's me.

Otops for me. But i must say, fantastic work. i'm even more anxious now to build my rig, sit back with some with a cold beer and watch it go boom boom boom in style

Thanks Gents :)

Yes Leland they are worth the effort.

I'm just wondering how long it will be until I build some with flat arrays
