The subs being omni-directional isn't the reason why there's nothing to be gained by having them stereo. The reason is because they can't be directionally located, so there's no such thing as left/right content. That's why engineers have been summing all content below 100Hz to mono since the 1970s, be it on a recording or live.

After a handful of loads and unloads......you'll get a 6x10 trailer with a ramp and your life will change......not only easier, but you will only load and unload half the number of times.

Also, my little truck is limited in it's towing capacity. The tongue limit is 1620 lbs and the max tow weight is 6800 lbs. My plan after I retire and buy a bigger truck will be to also get a trailer that I can leave loaded.

6x10 cargo trailers generally are rated at 3500lbs...tongue weight will be 350-400 pounds max...no need for a larger truck...in fact, you could pull it with a compact crossover.

I've got a 6x10 open landscape trailer that I've pulled with my Honda Fit. I had an enclosed 5x8 trailer that I could pull with anything...
Also, if you're planning on moving, a trailer is worth its weight in gold.

I'd envisioned a single V stack, minus V-plate, corner loaded. But, it sounds like you may have had two separated stacks in hopes of a stereo image? How did you actually have the subs stacked?

I've always done my live mixes mono, zero panning whatsoever, except for IEM mixes. And have always kept the subs clustered in one stack.

If I had your gear to work with and it was me, I would start with high passing everything but the bass, kick, etc. in the mixer (12dB/octave is all it offers) and let the PA2 manage the crossover. I'd probably only utilize one of the main outputs, not both L&R. It sounds as though that's essentially what you did.

I haven't experimented too much with Aux Fed Subs yet either. It's on my list to try more.

Over here we think of those as "big cars". Back in the days I have hauled a small trailer with a Peugeot 205. Your current truck would be considered huge
