you should definitely connect with the Bassic Boston crew (https://www.facebook.com/groups/5766984 ... ts&fref=ts) before you install these in the venue. they would crap their pants to rent all of this.

I whole-heartedly agree. I think the only complaints are from those who try to use it like caulk and run their fingers through it. It filled all my crummy cuts, and when I was done, I cut it square. I stick a screw in the nozzle and it's good for the next time.

Totally agree, just leave it be until it skins over and then remove it! I also like the extra setup time it gives you and no drips!

no problem, I grew up and swampscott, and would love to return up there to witness the power of that stack. those guys pick up a lot of the headliners I do, as well as many more, and have a good following. dunno what their budget is, but everyone in this scene wishes they could be like RECONSTRVCT (https://www.facebook.com/reconstrvct?fref=ts) out of NYC. their rig employs 8x Lab subs, plus some dual 18s, as per the TSUNAMI BASS experience.

8 labs must rip! Im hoping this system takes my listeners breath away!! Im putting an older Martin system into our smaller dance floor for now.. That same system held the crown in Providence RI for years for being the best system.. I want to destroy it :loler:

I have 0 doubt that your proposed system will demolish any system in your state. Regardless of price.
12 dual loaded T60's (according to the spl charts section) should demolish the lab sub system in extension and probably match output, while having less eq needed.

12 T60s will probably rip harder.

Any new pics, BassLordBob? :cowboy: You just HAVE TO let all 12 T60s rip at once. Yes it's a lot of work to schlep them and set them up, etc. But you will then hold a world record of some kind! I'd be totally curious as to what kind of SPL you could hit just feeding each cab about 20 volts or so. And trying "the brown note" experient is also a must-do, BTW.

Just to let you know the brown note was disproved and the horn loaded design wouldn't be useful trying to test it seeing as the design loses it's horn loading below the cutoff. Still, I'm sure he'll have to do the spl test with hearing protection while the club isn't open for the sheer sake of avoiding potential damaged hearing lawsuits. I'd love to hear a 25 Hz sine wave at 40 volts per sub! But only after putting on super hearing protection so that I can enjoy the body massage.

Yeah, I saw that episode of Myth Busters. I'd still like to try it out though! :D Totally with you on the boddy massage at 120+db. I'm just imagining what say, 8 T60s with 4 DR280s would sound like. Would like to be standing about 50 feet away from the cabs, just to revel in the wash of sound.

Im going to stop at 4 T60's since I got them mastered for assembly and move onto building jigs for the Dr280's. Im running out of space in my shop so building the DR's will take up less room..

Ooooh; DR280 jig goodness! Looking forward to seeing that too. I enjoy seeing all build threads, but watching someone with your skills gives me something to shoot for w/my own builds. So keep'em coming and good luck!
