There's probably a reason why they're half the price. The CPC we know are good.

PVC glue also did not work very well. I have made a few arrays with the types of glue that I could find, but my results so far have been rather fragile at best.
I use PVC pipe cement. Before I glue up I add the plastic cutoff from trimming the piezos to the can and leave it overnight, it will dissolve to tint the cement black and thicken it. Add clear thinner to the cement if it's too thick. A few coats and it's rock solid.
Bill, are you saying you use clear PVC pipe cement and let the trimmings give it the color? Or do you add the trimmings to black cement?

Built:
- Omni 10 (S2010 + piezo array)
- 2 x DR250 (DL II 2510 + melded array)
- 2 x Titan 39 (BP102 - 14"W)
- 2 x Titan 39 (3012LF - 20"W)
- 4 x DR200 (Delta Pro 8B + melded array)

For perforated grilles, I bought from RS
http://uk.rs-online.com/web/search/sear ... 4294954628

Good range in aluminium, mild steel, galv and stainless. Also plastic

Good value compared with B&Q and when I missed the delivery (DHL) they rang offering to re-arrange the delivery with DHL. When I told them that i'd already done it the sent an email to DHL to make sure that they did deliver on the day arranged.

They used to be known as BMM Electronics (www.bmm-electronics.nl), name changed to Europe Audio somewhere last year. Not sure if I ever bought from them. Search for their old and new name if you want more info.

Monacor piezo works, not sure where to get them at this time. You may want to contact forum user Sabbelbacke. He can send you piezo's.

Looks very much like the ones I've got indeed. Mine are good, were a bit cheaper, even with shipping from Germany.

If you do order from him, I recommend you buy some dirt cheap piezo's as well. Not only will you appreciate the difference in sound quality, but you also get cheap material to practice cut & glue without ruining perfectly good "expensive" piezo's. Last but not least: get some extra (of the good ones). There can be a few inferior drivers in a large batch, and you may break some as well on your first arrays.
