AutoTuba
I've used my AutoTuba now for almost 2 years with everything from DR200's to small studio monitors and have never been disapointed. What really impressed me though, is a project I've just completed. I wanted to upgrade my mini-monitors with some dipoles using nicer (read: very low linear/non-linear distortion) woofers. I was concerned that the AutoTuba might not match the timbre of the dipoles. All my concerns were tossed aside once I had the eq and crossover set and fired up the system for the first time. Everything from Bach to The Beastie Boys is clear and tight and puncy at all sane (and even insane) listening levels. The AutoTuba actually blends in so well that you'd think I had a monsterous dipole sub hidden somewhere in the studio. Simply put, when set up properly, this sub is simply tight and transparent. Nothing I'm aware of comes close.
