#1 Post by Ozmirage »

Musician's Friend currently lists the Eminence Basslite S2012 12" Bass Speaker for $69.99 (free shipping), the Eminence Basslite S2010 10" Bass Speaker for $64.99 (free shipping). and the Eminence Beta-8A Replacement PA Speaker for $54.99 (free shipping).

In comparison, PE offers Eminence Basslite S2012 Neo 12" Bass Guitar Speaker $79.97 + shipping (11.27 for my zip). (Free shipping if order goes up, though)
Eminence Basslite S2010 Neo 10" Bass Guitar Speaker for $74.97
Eminence Beta-8A $54.97 - $0.02 cheaper!

(I assume that they are identical speakers)

Don't know the current prices, but when I bought my S2010's for my Omni 10 earlier this year, bltsound.com was significantly cheaper than PE also.

+1 on blt for anything Eminence. Leland also can do better pricing than PE. They do pretty well on some of the small stuff, but my local GC does speakon ends for significantly less than PE if I request the pricing.

Leland has been tops in any purchase dealing I've had with him and would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. The thing I like most is that he keeps you fully informed all the way through and the goods end up at your door sooner than he promises.....

...and I'm 7,699 miles from him

I've also had a great experience with Leland. I just haven't bought drivers from him yet because I had already purchased them from Lawrence Langford. And speaking of Lawrence, he has been great to work with too. Lots of good options!
