G'day, having trouble identifying woofers in a local online auction
48th week of 2006 for the date, could you guys decode the 122256 model..?
They look like Delta Pro's, but 16 ohm..?

Ferrite magnet and 16 ohms....good chance that it's something they built for an OEM.

Based on the cast frame and 3" coil probably a Gamma Pro OEM. Long discontinued I can't find specs for it.

Not Xmax. To do that you'd need to have a driver in a standard test baffle (wall) and measure THD with software than can do it, like HolmImpulse, and see how many volts it takes to get to 10% THD. Then speaker modeling software can tell you excursion at that voltage.

Honestly, unless you get 'em dirt cheap....I mean $5-10 each, it's really not worth it unless you want to build some heavy cabs. I could see 'em some simplexx boxes for PA or bass guitar. But, then you have to recalculate the crossovers for PA use since they are 16 ohm. So, outside of a 2x12 cab for bass or guitar....I just don't see the uses that make sense.
But, I get it.....cheap speakers always get our attention. Hopefully, somebody will yell "SQUIRREL!" and you'll look the other way.
